This site has been developed to assist those of us researching the surnames of Taplin(g), Tuplin(g) and the myriad of variations that this name has taken over the years.

We are building a one-name database (which we DO NOT intend to make available on the internet), which is an ongoing project.
We hope to continue adding to and updating the site and welcome any suggestions for enhancing it from both members and those of you who happen across us during your hunt for that elusive ancestor. Please bear in mind that Elizabeth and Anne are busy adding to the database and this does take priority over adding to the website; Kath (our webmaster) is also a busy person, so changes may take some time.
