Our Newsletter
Newsletters are published twice a year, Elizabeth's in Summer and Anne's in Winter. There is no such thing as a ‘typical’ issue, but it may include:-
- A main article written by Elizabeth or Anne
- Information on any large sources we’ve added recently;
- Brief descriptions of sources we, or other members, have found useful;
- Pleas for help, or strays found;
- One or two articles written by our members;
- Brief descriptions of their family research so far, usually written by new members;
- Feed-back and follow-ups to previous articles,
Plus a main article written by Elizabeth for July or Anne for January.
We try to feature a different county each issue, but it doesn’t always work out that way.
Sometimes the bulk of the newsletter is sent in by our members, sometimes nothing arrives and we have to write it all ourselves.
